Debardchery

Come join the Shire of Cloondara for our annual event, Debardchery, a combination archery and bardic competition.
• Match your skills against the Kingdom’s finest archers in the novelty shoot and Royal Round!
• Bid on your favorite archer for the chance to win a prize!
• Join the fun in the traditional crazy Cloondaran games: Loaf Lob, Caper Toss, Fish Fling, and the deadly Flying Phoenix of Fate!
• Compete to be this year’s Bard of Cloondara! The topic is, “In praise of the Shire Reeve (Sheriff)”. Entries may be in any form: song, poetry, instrumental, dramatic, original work or interpretation of an existing piece.
Scheduled Events:
10:30 Archer’s Auction with Novelty Shoot to commence immediately after
12:30 Feast and Bardic Competitition
2:00 Begin Royal Round Shoot
Please bring a dish to contribute to a potluck feast at midday based on your SCA name: A-J side dish or salad, K-R main dish, S-Z dessert.
Site fee is by donation.
Please note that park rules forbid staking anything to the ground, so popups or similar structures only are allowed.
Due to permit restrictions, this event is open only to members of the Society for Creative Anachronism and their guests.
